Well our first time at the revamped Brighton Lakes course and it was a challenge. It looks nothing like the course we played back in the 1970’s when it was called New Brighton but it still has that difficult challenge about it. Testy par threes and long challenging par 4 and 5’s but no signature holes yet. Plenty of trees and water to catch the unwary. It will definitely be interesting when the renovations are finally completed. Now that we have played it and while the renovations are not completed I expect we should improve our scores next time. Low scores and count backs were the order of the day with the winner Nick on a count back from the Pres posting 29 points. Well done to all and see you at Massey Park where it is not quite so challenging.
