What a beautiful day and with a good turnout of players to have our final championship game of the year. The course was in fine shape but most players appeared to have difficulty with the reading the greens. All complained that they were slow and that may have been due to the watering prior to us playing but you have to adapt to the conditions. Well done to our winner Peter who may have taken a few more putts than others but still managed to come in with a whopping 6 under. Look out the handicapper is coming. Well done also to Tim and Scott who managed to give the putting some respectability posting 31 apiece. Certain holes on some courses seem to have that something special that invokes fond memories, the 9th at Rosnay seems to be one such hole for some players and probably will be for Tim Johnson who pulled off a HOLE in ONE. He now joins the prestigious hole in one club as well as emulating previous winners (Gary Cluff and John Haddon 1992) on the same course and hole with John coincidentally in the same month. Congratulations for the shot of the day.
