From a windy, chilly start and scrappy golf to a fine glorious day with very good golf. What a day. From all the recent rain, the ground was very damp underfoot on some holes and the grass was a little long on those fairways having not been recently mowed with the result, little or no run. This did not stop over half the field from posting very good scores with the winner (who complains all the time about losing strokes) being declared from a countback on a magnificent 59. Well done Michael and to the unlucky runner up Tim H.

Having not missed playing at Bardwell Valley I will continue to give it a miss .
I can do better playing my home course – Hurstville.
Decisions, decisions. To accept the challenge or not to accept the challenge. I sometimes feel the same after the game and wonder – WHY?
