Lucky it was an early start as the weather warmed up like a summers day. However a disappointing day on a course where high scores are usually the norm. Except for the winner (well done Mark), it would appear that everyone else struggled. This may have been partly due to the condition of many of the greens which were pockmarked, sandy and bumpy, making putting very difficult. Unusual for this course which normally have greens of very good standard so hopefully they will be rectified soon. We have had some inquiries on how to join our club. It is pretty simple. You can send an email to APD then turn up at the game, introduce yourself to one of the office bearers who will give you all the details of the club. If you bring your clubs, you may find yourself having a game. There is no joining fee. Another way is to post in the comments section. Hope to see you at the next game Hartino.
Just a shout out guys to see if you are looking for new members. I play social golf about once a week but don’t have a handicap. Looking to play twilight and weekend golf on different courses.
Hello Michael. New members are always welcome. We don’t have a joining fee but fees do apply to cover the costs of the game and competitions that are run. Some competitions are eligible for points immediately whereas others require you to have a club handicap before scoring. Come to the next game, introduce yourself and all the rules etc. will be explained. If you want a game, bring your clubs and if you are happy to join our fraternity, you will more than likely be included in one of the groups.
Cheers
Merv
